The bed comes with a sturdy slatted base. The slat base is made of solid beech. The slatted base of the bed increases air circulation in the bed and thus improves sleeping comfort.
The bed is finished with a water-based varnish that is safe for children and environmentally friendly.
A safety edge is available as an accessory. We recommend a 10-14 cm thick mattress if there is a need for a safety edge to guarantee the bed's complete safety. The safety edge is easy to place on the side of the bed and thus prevents the child from falling off the bed. The size of the mattress suitable for the bed is 90cm x 200cm.
