The Joie i-Spin Safe is a rear-facing Isofix child seat designed for use from birth up to approximately four years of age. This car seat has passed the demanding Swedish Plus test, which measures the force exerted on the child's neck in a frontal collision with great precision. The seat has a lifespan of up to 18.6 kg or 105 cm and is always intended to be used rear-facing.
The i-Spin Safe is securely attached to the car's Isofix mounts, and the child is secured in place with a five-point harness that can be easily adjusted with one hand. The seat has a one-hand adjustable headrest, which allows you to always get the harness at the right height. The headrest is made of memory foam, which increases comfort and safety. The seat can be adjusted to six different positions and can be turned towards the door with one hand, making it easier to place the child in the seat.
The safety seat has deep, padded side supports and a pleasantly soft cover. The fabrics can be easily removed for washing without having to remove the harness. The lock and shoulder straps have padding for added comfort. In addition, there are automatically opening side impact protections on both sides of the seat, which offer additional protection in the event of a collision.
The seat comes with a reducer intended for newborns, which consists of three parts. This reducer supports a smaller child, and the parts can be removed one by one as the child grows, so there is more space.
