The excellent design allows parents to wrap their baby (1) with their arms at their sides under the wrap, (2) with one arm next to their face, with one arm open for self-adjustment, (3) with their arms up, with the arms closed to partially suppress the startle reflex and secure the wrap around the belly, or (4) with their arms up, fully extended through the 1/2 length cuffs to not suppress the startle reflex and secure the wrap around the belly (better for babies 2-3 months old).
The uniquely designed 1/2 length cuffs feature fold-over mitten cuffs that can be kept open or closed. Parents can open one or both cuffs to allow baby to soothe themselves by sucking their hand, or close the cuffs to protect the face from scratches.
